Photography Categories

  1. Animals                              6. Grange Activities
  2. Flowers and Plants            7. Holiday Moments
  3. Scenic/Objects                   8. Black & White (any topic)
  4. Portrait (Adults)                  9. Selfies
  5. Portrait (12 yrs and under)

Photography Rules

  1. Photographs can only be entered in one class
  2. Only 3-4 entries per category, but you may place only once in each category
  3. The photographs must be the size of a standard photo. (Please 4×6 only)
  4. Each photo must be permanently mounted on a solid background
  5. Overall presentation is taken into consideration while being judged.
  6. Pictures must be current (within the past 2 years)
  7. Best of Show winner will be chosen from the first-place winners of all categories and sent to compete at National Grange Session

Art Contest Categories

Categories:   

1.  Scenic                       2.  Portraits

Rules:

  1. All entries must be original works
  2. Art can be of any recognized medium
  3. Maximum size 24 x 36 NO GLASS OR KITS (DESIGNS PRE-PRINTED)

Craft Contest Categories

Categories:   

1. Wood Crafts                 2. Holiday Decor

3. Coasters             

Rules:

  1. All: No larger than 2’ x 2’ x 2’
  2. All: No KITS OR GLASS
  3. Holiday Décor: any holiday
  4. Coasters: a set of four; any media

Essay:    This years essay will be on the topic of “If I could Travel anywhere in the world, I would go to……”.  It should be a two page double spaced paper on the topic and placed in a plastic binder with your name and grange on the back of the last page.

Short Story: This can be a fictional short story about any topic. create a character, a plot, and an ending. It should be a three page, double spaced paper ad placed in a plastic binder with your name and Grange name with number on the back of the last page.

Talent:  Vocal, instrumental and variety acts and public speeches permitted. Time allowed at National must be 5-minutes or less, including set-up and take-down of any props.
