Welcome to the Feather River Grange!

Featured

The Feather River Grange 440 is back! We are a small (but mighty) group interested in local engagement, conservation, and community spirit.

A grange is a community-driven organization that aims to strengthen rural areas by empowering individuals, promoting local engagement, and fostering a sense of belonging among its members. It serves as a platform for people to come together, share knowledge, support local initiatives, and work towards the betterment of their community and the land they steward. Granges often organize events, educational programs, and social activities to facilitate connections among community members.

Every Grange is different! And our Feather River Grange has a lot of work to do in order to get up and running again. Our immediate goals include making sure our building is up to the Grange standard. This will include some yard-work, a fresh paint job and some internal repairs. After that, we can channel all our focus on the COMMUNITY! We are hoping to provide our community with an affordable rental space for parties and gatherings, host community meals, and various educational workshops.

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30PM-7:00PM. (Food, drinks and socializing from 5:30PM-6:00PM and the official meeting from 6:00PM-7:00PM) at 55 W Main St, Quincy, CA. If you want to be more involved in your community, come on down to the next meeting and pick up a membership form!

Later, Grangers!
