Welcome to the official website of Bennett Valley Grange #16. Located in Santa Rosa, CA, Bennett Valley Grange is the oldest Community Grange in California and proudly home to the oldest Grange Hall in continuous use in the United States. We are proudly associated with the California State Grange and National Grange. We are looking forward to inviting you to become active members of Bennett Valley Grange.

Membership

We welcome all of good moral character who have an interest in the mission and purpose of the organization. 

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Bennett Valley Grange Hall (4145 Grange Rd., Santa Rosa, CA). While most meetings are in person at our Hall, occasionally meetings are held by zoom. If you’d like to attend a meeting it’s recommended to contact [email protected] to RSVP you’ll be attending.

To become a member, complete a membership application and email it to [email protected]. Before an application can be voted on it must be accompanied by an application fee of $5.00 per application.

Individual Membership – Must be at least 13.5 years old, have a voice and vote on all matters of Grange business and can serve as officers or on committees. Annual membership fee $40.

Family Membership – Must be at least 13.5 years old, have a voice and vote on all matters of Grange business and can serve as officers or on committees. A family shall consist of a couple and their dependents, or a single person and their dependents. Dependents are defined as children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, foster, adopted or step-children under the age of 23, who live as a member of the same household or in absence due to illness, education or military service. Legal dependents of any age shall be considered part of their legal guardians’ family. Annual membership fee $80.

Associate Membership – A person or business with an interest in the advancement of agriculture and improvement of rural life. Does not have a vote on matters of Grange business and cannot serve as an officer. Annual membership fee $50.
