The Grange is a family, community organization with its roots in agriculture. Founded in 1874, Chester-Delaware Pomona Grange No. 3 is comprised of ten community Granges of Chester County: Brandywine, Chester Valley, East Lynn, Goshen, Honeybrook, Kennett, Kimberton, London Grove, Marshallton, and Russellville. Also, there is one Junior Grange at Russellville. Children ages 5-14 may join the Junior Grange. At age 14 and up, you may join the Community Grange in your area. Faith, Hope, Charity, and Fidelity are the basic lessons of the community Grange.
The Grange has four levels, Community, County, State and National to ensure that the membership’s voice is heard at the appropriate place.
Chester-Delaware Pomona Grange No. 3 meets quarterly, usually the second Saturday of January, April, July, and October. Our meetings are hosted by one of our member Granges on a rotating basis.
