Antrim Grange’s fourteenth annual Spotlight on Community Artists exhibit will be held Friday, June 17 through Sunday June 19 at the Antrim Grange Hall. Local amateur and professional artists, and Grange members, are invited to exhibit their works.
Antrim Grange’s Art Exhibit program has a three-fold purpose: (1) To encourage local artists by providing an exhibit environment, (2) To engage the local community in supporting local artists, and (3) To provide an opportunity for the public to experience and enjoy the historic Antrim Grange Hall, which provides an excellent showroom to display fine art and photographic works.
This is an opportunity to display your art works locally and, if you wish, offer them for sale. A modest commission fee of 20% on sales will help fund Antrim Grange’s scholarship program.
To promote community fellowship for viewers and artists, we will celebrate the Evening Gala on Friday, June 17th, 7-9 p.m. with refreshments, musical entertainment, and a door prize.
We will continue the popular People’s Choice Award, which is selected by popular vote of guests and patrons of the exhibit.
The Antrim Grange Art Exhibit schedule:
Art drop-off: Wednesday, June 15th, 10am – noon, 4pm – 6pm. Other drop off times can be arranged if these times do not work for you.
Friday 2pm – 5pm Art Viewing
Friday 7pm – 9pm Evening Gala and Art Viewing
Saturday 10am – 3pm Art Viewing
Sunday noon – 4pm Art Viewing and People’s Choice Award presentation at 4:00pm
Sunday Art Pick-up by 5pm or previously arranged pick-up time after Sunday
Applications are due by June 10th. Your cooperation with this deadline will be gratefully appreciated and helps us produce the best possible exhibit to properly and professionally show off your work. If you are a first-time exhibitor, we will also be grateful to receive a short bio about you and your work that will be included in our program book, which all patrons receive upon visiting our show.
