February, is Heart Month, and we all should wear something, RED, to show our concern over this devastating disease. Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the United States About 600,0000 Americans die of this malady, a year. Due to COVID & its complications , it is very important that people with heart & poor cardiovascular problems understand the importance of maintaining their weight, exercising, and eating right.
Symptoms for women, which are different from men, include:
- Angina or heavy or tightness in the chest
- Painful spasms in the neck, jaw or throat
- Pains in the upper abdomen region of the back
- Nausea, vomiting or Fatigue
- If feeling down or in a funk, call a friend – talking with someone, maybe over Tea & Scones, cookies or something sweet, usually helps. Friends, help to brighten spirits, which will improve your heart health.
