The Grange needs a new roof!

A big thank you to everyone that responded to our recent mailer! We are feeling the love and support of the community as we work to secure the future of the Grange hall.

If you would like to help raise our roof, there are a few ways to do so! Follow the square site link to donate through square, or write a check to the Grange and bring it to any public potluck.

There will be a Grange business meeting October 4th at 6:30pm.

On October 18th at 6pm there will be a social potluck at the Grange hall, followed by a talk by Steve Hauff on the Spruce Railroad division. Learn about our local history! All are welcome!

Community Potluck & Local History Talk September 20th, 6pm

It’s time for Crescent Grange to resume social potlucks after a summer break. Mark your calendars. September 20 at 6:00PM. Our program after dinner will be a presentation by David Brownell, Executive Director of the North Olympic History Center. He will be talking about the history of Gettysburg Washington and the goings on historically near the mouth of the Lyre River.

Everyone is welcome to join us the a nice potluck dinner and a fascinating local history lesson.

State Grange Competition Results are In!

The Crescent grangers did very well at the state grange competition this year! We received blue ribbons in canning and preservation, ceramics, and in baking! Way to go everyone! We did a great job at representing the wonderful talents and skills within our county. Start thinking about what you’d like to present for next year!

Tom Del Hotal, the Master Gardener who made the great presentation at the February 15th social meeting, will be putting on another class on March 2nd at 9:00am. There will be about 45 minutes of instruction, then you will head outside for some actual pruning in the Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden.
