Albright Grange #440 lost a loyal member, Gerald Young, last week. See website above for Gerald’s obituary. Gerald was a 70+ year Grange member. Was extremely generous with his time and money. Gerald donated squash every year for our Chicken/Biscuit Dinner and helped peel squash (difficult task). He played his harmonica every year for our Christmas party along with Paul Albro on organ. Gerald had a fantastic ability to remember times and details. It was a pleasure to know him. Attached is a photo of Gerald with his family from a few years ago.

ALBRIGHT GRANGE 440 CHICKEN AND BISCUIT DINNER WILL BE ON NOV 11th STARTING AT 5PM. ENDING WHEN FOOD IS GONE.

MENU: CHICKEN/BISCUITS/GRAVY, POTATOES, SQUASH, CABBAGE SALAD, COFFEE/TEA/WHITE & CHOCOLATE MILK, ASSORTMENT OF PIES.

$9 ADULTS, $8 SENIORS (60 AND OVER). KIDS $5 (6 AND UP), 5 AND UNDER FREE.

Chicken and biscuit dinner will be Nov 4th. Prices and menu to follow as soon as I have details.

Card parties: Nov 11, Dec 2, Jan 6 & 20, Feb 3 & 17, Mar 3 & 17. Starting time 7pm. Good times, fellowship, food and prizes. Donations appreciated so we can keep parties going.

First meeting for Albright Grange #440 after summer break. We will have an indoor picnic and meeting Sept 12th at 6pm. Meat will be provided, bring a dish to pass. We will plan for Oct chicken and biscuit dinner

13th annual Plow Day, April 22nd. Pancake Breakfast by Albright Grange, Chicken BBQ by EH Methodist Church, Old time tractors, horse buggy rides, kids rides. Breakfast: $7 adults, $5 kids, under 5 free

Card party tonight at Albright Grange and last card party is March 18th, both at 7pm. Good food, good time, good friends! Also don’t forget Plow Days, April 22nd. Pancakes, BBQ chicken, old tractors plowing, horse wagon rides, and fun for kids of all ages. No dogs please!!!!  More on Plow Day as it gets closer.
