Home from National convention
Thirteen of our members attended the National Convention in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jamie Klenklen coordinated the Seventh Degree presentation, and several of our members had parts in that. Donna Bates served as host of the Idea Fair, with booths for vendors and displays from each state. Roger Bostwick, National Grange Priest Archon, and Melanie Bostwick were busy in the business meetings of the National Grange.
And, for the third year in a row, our Grange received the Distinguished Grange award!
Halloween treats!
At our October meeting we put together treat bags for our junior members. Some of them were able to be at the meeting. In November some of our members will be attending the National Grange Convention in Lincoln, Nebraska (see www.nationalgrange.org), and members will present dictionaries at six grade schools… encompassing all of Jefferson County.
