Who is Penn State Collegiate Grange?
We’re so glad you asked! We are a group of students, faculty/staff, and community members that are dedicated to improving our local community. We engage a variety of projects ranging from the Arboretum Pumpkin Festival to food drives for the State College Food Bank. We also have fun events, like the Penn State Grange Fair or our Annual College of Ag Cook Off.
As a Collegiate Grange, we are active on the Penn State University Park campus, as well as the State College Community. We are housed within the College of Agriculture Sciences and are a member organization of the Agriculture Student Council.
We are also a full-fledged community Grange. We love to participate in events with our other Grange friends. Some of our favorite events include State Session, Youth Camp, and National Session. We enjoy opportunities to build leadership skills, participate in legislative activities, and network with awesome people from around the nation!
When do you meet?
We meet on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30 pm. These meetings are held in 105 Ag Science and Industry Building on the University Park campus. (We also have pizza!) Upcoming meetings include:
- Sept. 12
- Sept. 26
- Oct. 10
- Oct. 24
How do I join?
Just come to a meeting! We would love to meet you!
Dues are $5 for the year (but you don’t have to bring them to your first meeting). This just helps us cover pizza and costs of other activities.
