Butler County Pomona Grange #17 will be presenting a program on Honey Bees. The program will be held at Unionville Grange, 150 N. Benbrook Road Butler, Pa. 16001. The program will be on June 5, 2017 starting at 7:00 pm. The program will be presented by Joe Zgurzynski from the Country Barn Farm. Joe teach’s classes on beekeeping. He also runs the Country Barn Beekeeping Club, is a member of the Beaver Valley Beekeepers Association and the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association. Joe has a very interesting presentation on honey bees, the roles of the different honey bees, bee hives and bee behavior. This is a meeting you do not want to miss if you want to learn more about the honey bee and how it effects our everyday living. Refreshments to follow program.
