Youth Grange

Hello from the Youth Grange!!!

Beach Community Grange has started a Youth Grange, and here is where you can keep updated on our Community Service Projects and information! Youth Grange consists of those who are ages 15 to 35. We come together to do community service projects, volunteer opportunities with the Grange, compete in regional and national levels.

We provide leadership training through a variety of opportunities: Regional conferences, Horizon Leadership program, John Trimble Legislative Experience, Kelley Farm Experiences and the National convention, to name a few. Individual life skills will be developed through the Achievement Award program, which offers opportunities for exploration in public speaking, communication, critical thinking, mentoring, Drills, Parliamentary procedure, sharing talents, marketing and career exploration. Pride and knowledge will be developed in those who desire to learn more about our organization through a Current Events and Grange Trivia. We will work with the Junior Grange department in creating opportunities for older junior grange members to begin their transition into the Subordinate grange by encouraging youth to be mentors to those older juniors and by providing opportunities for them to become involved in the Achievement award program. We will strive to create within youth a desire to care for those dealing with physical challenges by educating all about organizations that meet the needs of those physically challenged.

If you think this program sounds like something you or a youth you know would like to join please contact the Youth Grange Leader or come to the Beach Community Grange building and apply.

Thank you!
