Fair Oaks Grange of Sutherlin, Oregon will be hosting their Annual Ladies Tea on Friday, April 18 starting at 11 a.m. In addition to fellow Grangers many non Grangers are invited to this event, it is our way of celebrating Grange month. It is always a very fun event. This year’s theme is “Anything Sewing”. There will be a flower arranging demonstration by Betty Neilson. She was in the nursery business for many years. Guest Speaker will be Bev Doescher, Oregon State G.W.A. to give us a talk about the Grange. Musical entertainment will be provided by Dr. Wm. “Dusty” Craver - “Rag Time Piano”. Door prizes and table favors and food abounds with potluck finger food and of course, lots of tea. So, ladies wear your tea party hats and come and join us for a very fun time. On Saturday, June 14th at 2 p.m. we will host our Annual Men’s Pie Social. Men be sure and request your favorite pie ahead of time and we will have it there for you. Entertainment for this event will be “Sadie and the Good Ol’ Boy (Delmar Beck from Kellogg Grange) playing old time country music. We will be handing our own “Granger of the Year Award” out at this event. We would love to have you come on out and join us. It is open to everyone and there is no charge.
